Anheuser-Busch has provided general support that has enabled the Rainforest Alliance (RA) to expand our work in the United States and around the world to conserve biodiversity and protect wildlife. RA has 31,000 members and has conserved over 70 million acres of vital wildlife habitat.
Other RA programs focus on the so-called "working lands" of the world to protect wildlife. Lands such as coffee farms, industrial forests and banana plantations are managed as responsibly as possible to ensure that they too can provide homes for wildlife.
In 2006, Anheuser-Busch supported RA's sustainable forestry awareness efforts in China to help improve water quality.
