WUHAN (March 31, 2008) – Anheuser-Busch’s Budweiser Wuhan International Brewery was named a 2007 Safe Production Model Employer by the Wuhan Municipal Government. The award recognizes the brewery for its excellence in employing the highest-quality safety measures at its facilities.
“Each day, our employees dedicate themselves to helping Anheuser-Busch brew the highest-quality beers,” said
Xia Wei, Senior Plant Manager, Budweiser Wuhan International Brewery. “No matter what their job, we
owe it to them to make sure they are working in a safe and productive environment. This award is something
we all can be proud to receive.”
This is the 12th consecutive year the Budweiser Wuhan International Brewery has received the Safe Production
Model Employer Award. Each year, the Wuhan Industry State-Owned Holdings Group conducts a full site inspection
of hundreds of businesses and recommends which company should apply for the award based on outstanding compliance
with state safety laws and regulations. The Wuhan Municipal Government then reviews each company’s application
and selects the annual recipients.
