GIVING BACK TO OUR LOCAL COMMUNITIES
We invest in people. In communities. In the dream. And we know it’s all worth it. But the hardest work truly comes from our colleagues, the people who lend a helping hand to their neighbors. We’re grateful to our colleagues who have dedicated their time and efforts to supporting causes that mean something to them. That’s really what it’s all about.
Here are some examples of the great initiatives supported by our colleagues and their families.
Habitat For Humanity
In 2017 nearly 500 Anheuser-Busch colleagues and their family members dedicated more than 3,000 volunteer hours by helping to build homes for deserving families in and around various Anheuser-Busch facilities' communities. Since 1999 the Anheuser-Busch Foundation has provided more than $10MM in grants to Habitat for Humanity chapters in Anheuser-Busch's brewery markets.
Through our partnership with the American Red Cross, we conduct on-site blood drives at various company facilities throughout the year. In 2017 more than 1,000 colleagues donated life saving blood and plasma.
Tap Into Giving
In the 4th quarter of 2017, Anheuser-Busch launched a new employee giving program. In partnership with United Way, we developed a year round program that allows our colleagues to donate to the causes/charities of their choice, while doubling the impact of their individual philanthropy with a matching gift from the Anheuser-Busch Foundation. United Way provides administrative services for this program, and remains a strong partner. Anheuser-Busch and United Way of Greater St. Louis have a relationship that spans more than 50 years. Within the last decade, that relationship has extended to more than 36 United Way chapters, in 53 Anheuser-Busch facility markets. Between 2011 and 2017, Anheuser-Busch, the Anheuser-Busch Foundation, and our colleagues have combined to contribute nearly $18MM to United Way chapters across the country.
Car and Bike Shows and Green Team...The Community Affairs Team does not execute these programs. Please consult with the respective breweries that own them.
