Steve Ghiglieri was named plant manager for the Anheuser-Busch Houston brewery in January 2001. Steve served as brewmaster for the Houston brewery for two years prior to his new position.
Earlier in his career, Steve held various brewing production positions with increasing responsibility at Anheuser-Busch facilities in St. Louis, Los Angeles and Williamsburg, Va. While in St. Louis, Steve was responsible for the international brewing operations for several years and also held a position in corporate operations.
Steve graduated from the University of California-Davis with a master’s degree in food science.
Dave Maxwell was named resident brewmaster for the Houston brewery in January 2001. Maxwell was promoted to the position after serving as senior assistant brewmaster at the Houston plant. He began his career with Anheuser-Busch in the Research Pilot brewery in 1989 and has held positions in brewing at the Anheuser-Busch breweries in Fairfield, Calif., St. Louis and Houston.
Dave is a graduate of Southern Illinois University-Carbondale with a microbiology degree. He enjoys golf, biking and family outings with his wife and three children.
