Our long-standing partners play a key role in our corporate and brand programs and provide opportunities for our employees to make a difference in their communities through volunteerism.

Living Lands & Waters: For the ninth year, Anheuser-Busch employees and families volunteered to help Chad Pregracke and his team from Living Lands & Waters clean up the St. Louis riverfront as part of the “Great Mississippi River Cleanup.”  The 2010 cleanup brought in more than 10 tons of trash and debris from the islands and shorelines of the Mississippi River near downtown St. Louis.

River Network: In honor of World Environment Day, Anheuser-Busch and our Budweiser brand donated $150,000 to River Network to support river and watershed conservation projects in our 12 U.S. brewery cities. More than 400 employees and their families volunteered to help clean up rivers, plant native vegetation, assist with invasive species removal and take part in environmental education initiatives.

Keep America Beautiful: Anheuser-Busch joined Keep America Beautiful and communities across the country in recognizing November 15th as America Recycles Day. To mark the occasion, the Anheuser-Busch Foundation donated $500,000 to support Keep America Beautiful and the organization’s ongoing efforts to educate the public on the importance of recycling and litter prevention. In addition, the donation funded a grant program to assist event recycling by providing approximately 3,000 recycling bins to communities across the country.

National Fish & Wildlife Foundation: Budweiser, its family of wholesalers, the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, five other leading conservation organizations and loyal consumers from across the United States teamed up for the eleventh annual “Help Budweiser Conserve the Outdoors” program in September 2009.  To date, the program has raised more than $8.7 million to restore vital wildlife habitats across the country and conserve the nation’s outdoor heritage.

Ducks Unlimited: Budweiser has supported Ducks Unlimited since 1998 through a national sponsorship, regionally through event underwriting and locally through relationships among Ducks Unlimited committees and Anheuser-Busch distributors.

Biodiversity Project: Great Lakes Forever is a program of Biodiversity Project, based out of Chicago, Illinois.  Since its creation in 2004, Great Lakes Forever has become a source for public education and action programs that help strengthen the movement to protect the Great Lakes.  Since 2005, Budweiser has helped sponsor Great Lakes Forever initiatives and projects, including a photo contest designed to select the best professional and amateur photographs of the Great Lakes and to raise public awareness about improving the health of the Great Lakes.
