As the country's largest brewer and leading American manufacturer, we are doing our part to support the more than 2.1 million jobs related to the beer industry with a planned investment of more than $1 billion over the next two years in our work and workplaces to drive economic prosperity in communities across the U.S.
This planned investment across 26 states will expand our U.S. operations, enable sustainable innovations, stimulate economies and strengthen our connection to communities across the nation. Of this investment, nearly $100 million will go towards sustainability projects including solar panel installments, water treatment and other similar initiatives over the next two years.
Greg Nowak
Director & Secretary-Treasurer for Teamsters Brewery and Soft Drink Conference
"We are proud of our longstanding relationship with Anheuser-Busch and appreciate their investment in American workers and manufacturing," said Greg Nowak, Director and Secretary-Treasurer at Teamsters Brewery and Soft Drink Conference.
To reinforce our role in the recovery of our economy, we also unveiled our first-ever corporate Super Bowl commercial, called “Let's Grab A Beer.” For many people, dreaming big means looking forward to better times and being with friends and family again. The film reminds people of life's meaningful moments – big and small – when being together matters most, and the role our products can play as a connector and a catalyst. The ad reinforces our company's focus whose heritage as a brewer is the foundation for serving up new and better ways to make meaningful impact far beyond the products we sell.
Investing in our work and workplaces is just one part of our ongoing commitment to lead the safe, strong reopening of our country and reigniting our economy. Our focus on investing in sustainable brewing practices, our efforts to support the bar and restaurant community, and an enduring commitment to sourcing our ingredients from more than 900 American farms help to protect the livelihoods of those across our entire supply chain—from farmers and factory workers to bartenders and truck drivers.
Dave Taylor
US Chief Supply Officer for Anheuser-Busch
“We are committed to protecting peoples' livelihoods across our entire supply chain – from farmers and bartenders to truck drivers and team members in our own facilities,” said Dave Taylor, U.S. Chief Supply Officer at Anheuser-Busch.“As the only brewer and alcohol manufacturer that can make an impact of this magnitude, we take this responsibility seriously. We know that when our communities get stronger, our country gets stronger, and that's a step towards recovery. By investing in these communities and their capabilities, we're ensuring that together, with all of our partners, we can brew and deliver great beer for many years to come.”
As the country's leading brewer, we are uniquely positioned to leverage and maximize our unique relationships and capabilities to make a positive impact on our communities, our planet and our people. We take this responsibility seriously and are committed to doing our part.
We dream big to create a future that everyone can celebrate, and everyone can share. Here's to a future with more cheers.
