After an amazing kick-off show featuring John Mayer in Los Angeles last month, this summer’s Bud Light Dive Bar Tour rolls on: next stop, New Orleans, for a night of Bay Area flavored hip-hop courtesy of multi-platinum-selling artist, G-Eazy.
In anticipation of his new album, titled “The Beautiful and Damned,” G-Eazy is set to hit the stage of a soon-to-be-announced dive bar in New Orleans on Wednesday, August 30. As an added bonus for his fans, G-Eazy will also host a special two-day pop-up shop, “Gerry’s,” in the days leading up to the show. There, fans will be able to grab limited edition apparel capsules, designed by G-Eazy and Bud Light, along with delivering a thematic experience bringing fans into G-Eazy’s world in his 2nd home town of New Orleans.
“I’m stoked to do another event with my friends at Bud Light,” said G-Eazy. “I got my start in small dive bars in New Orleans, so it’s full circle to go back and play there now — there was no way I was turning that down. I consider New Orleans to be my second home, so I can’t wait to bring this show and the Gerry’s pop-up shop to all my friends and family there.”
The Bud Light Dive Bar Tour is an extension of the brand’s “Famous Among Friends” campaign, celebrating the value of building friendships over music and beers. Along with G-Eazy, the brand will be rolling out several social promotions to help bring consumers to the show and build excitement for the tour throughout the month of August and beyond.
G-Eazy’s Bud Light Dive Bar Tour stop will take place in New Orleans on Wednesday, August 30 and will be live-streamed on the Bud Light Facebook Page for consumers to experience the show live from anywhere in the country. More details on the location and time of the performances will be announced on Bud Light’s social channels soon.
