President and CEO, North America
For over 20 years, Michel has driven change and growth throughout the AB InBev organization. Under his leadership as Chief Sales Officer, AB InBev outperformed the industry in several key metrics, including growth in volumes and earnings, over five years. Michel holds a degree in chemical engineering from Federal University of Santa Catarina, a master’s degree in marketing from Fundação Getulio Vargas, and has also completed post-graduate programs in marketing and marketing strategy at the Kellogg School of Management and Wharton Business School in the United States.
AGOSTINO DE GASPERIS
Ago has focused his time investing in the people at A-B InBev for 15 years. He previously served as our VP of People in Canada, where the company was recognized as one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers for five consecutive years during his leadership. Ago is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto.
INGRID DE RYCK
VP, Procurement and Sustainability
Ingrid has been with the A-B InBev family for 16 years, and in her role as our senior leader focused on sustainability, she underscores our dedication to our Better World Goals in all areas of our business. Her passion for building a cleaner and more sustainable world has been portrayed in her previous roles with packaging procurement and our Global Procurement Office where she worked on centralizing secondary packaging categories and re-designing global supply markets. Ingrid holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in business engineering from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven.
VP, Finance and Solutions
Nelson is passionate about every individual’s opportunity to make an impact on our company and its culture. His 20-year journey with AB-InBev has taken him from leading finance roles in Brazil to the Dominican Republic, through Western Europe and now to North America. Nelson finds inspiration in new challenges and in collaborating with his colleagues. He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in industrial engineering from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.
Craig is General Counsel for North America. He is passionate about delivering results in the right way and developing teams that excel in finding solutions. Since joining A-B InBev in 2012, Craig has led teams in Australia, Asia and Europe and has been instrumental in driving growth across many parts of the company. He previously worked at Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett and for the City of New York under Mayor Bloomberg. Craig holds degrees from the University of Chicago and from Northwestern University School of Law. He was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
No stranger to amazing brands, Marcel has spent his 12 years at our company working to connect our beers to both consumers and culture. Most recently, Marcel was our Global VP, Marketing Brands and Growth Development Platforms, and prior to that he led marketing for Skol, Brahma, Antarctica and our company’s activations at the 2014 World Cup. Now he shares his experience, energy and enthusiasm to as A-B’s chief marketer for America’s favorite beers.
President, The Craft Business Unit
Marcelo Michaelis, known to most as Mika, is the president of the Craft Business Unit, our dedicated workforce that supports our 12 amazing craft partners. He leads the charge to grow our craft breweries while staying true to the cultures that made them so successful in the first place. Mika's appreciation for great beer and amazing sales and marketing experiences led him to AB-InBev 16 years ago in Brazil. He has spent the last four years in the US as a regional vice president and today, he’s focused on finding new ways to elevate beer and to advance the category as a whole.
Over the past 20 years, Elito has delivered consistent results and developed great teams for our operations around the globe. He joined the North American team in 2018, bringing valuable experience to drive success and innovation in our supply chain. Previously Global Vice President Operations and Logistics, he has supported our Global Brands expansion and achieved major improvements in service level, safety, quality and sustainability KPIs. Elito holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering, two executive MBAs, and has also completed Supply Chain Programs from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Stanford University.
VP, Business and Wholesaler Development
As a 40-year veteran of Anheuser-Busch, Bob has incredible insight into the US market, and there is not a more dedicated or respected “Bud Man” than him. Starting as a delivery route driver early in his career, Bob has climbed through the ranks and is now responsible for managing our relationships with our independent wholesalers nationwide. He has been integral in developing our Win Together platform with our wholesalers and as VP, Business and Wholesaler Development, he will continue to focus on strengthening our partnership with our wholesaler network. Bob holds a Bachelor of Science from Providence College in Rhode Island.
Dave’s passion is making great beer. In more than 21 years with the company, he’s put that passion to work at many of our breweries across the country, and most recently in leading our aluminum can, lid and glass bottle production. Now the head of Supply, Dave is tasked with overseeing our North American breweries and other facilities. Dave has a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Missouri and an MBA from the College of William & Mary.
VP, Legal and Corporate Affairs
Cesar Vargas joined us in 2017 as our North America Zone VP of Legal and Corporate Affairs. He’s spent more than 20 years managing public affairs activities worldwide on behalf of a variety of Fortune 100 companies. Over the course of his career he has managed communications and government relations initiatives, election campaigns, and outreach programs in Washington, D.C. and across all 50 states in the U.S. He has also overseen public affairs activities in more than 100 other countries around the world. Cesar was born and raised near Los Angeles and graduated from the University of Southern California with a bachelor’s degree in Communications.
As a recognized commercial leader in the beverage industry, Brendan brings a deep understanding of US consumers and a proven ability to drive topline growth across top brands and key channels. Since he joined us in 2013, Brendan has held key positions in our sales functions including leading trade marketing, category and sales technology efforts in the US. Brendan brings a strong sense of dedication and drive to the role after serving our country in the US Marine Corps and Central Intelligence Agency for over 8 years. Brendan holds a dual bachelor’s degree in economics and classics from Bucknell University and an MBA from Harvard University.
Fabricio has been at the forefront of global business and planning strategy for over 17 years with AB InBev. He has served in positions across the globe bringing the concepts of unstoppable trends and long-term thinking projects to the strategic agenda and leading growth in Latin America, Asia, and North America. Fabricio holds a Degree in Civil Engineering from Mackenzie University of Sao Paulo. He has also completed post-graduate programs in Marketing and Marketing Strategy from the Kellogg School of Management.
BU President, Canada
Over the past 18 years, Kyle has leveraged his broad experience with Labatt Breweries of Canada and AB InBev, particularly in sales and marketing, to continuously deliver successful results, innovative strategies and disruptive ideas. As VP, Global Brands and earlier, as VP Marketing at Labatt, he has driven growth in Budweiser, as well as Corona, Stella Artois and regional and high-end Canadian products. He has led his teams through campaigns that earned a number of major awards, including CASSIES, Canada's premier advertising awards, and a Gold Lion award at Cannes. Kyle holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing from the University of British Columbia.
VP, New Business
Marina joined Anheuser-Busch in 2018 as VP, New Business after spending over 20 years driving growth for entrepreneurial ventures and Fortune 500 corporations. She is passionate about building brands that become part of the cultural conversation. Marina works in partnership with ZX Ventures and the North America Zone commercial team to fuel new business ventures and capitalize on long-term market opportunities that address consumer needs and drive growth. Marina is a graduate of Wellesley College with degrees in French Literature and Political Science.
