Our Global Management Trainee (GMT) Program is the best introduction to the way we do business. This program gives students a cross-functional understanding of the business while setting trainees up for rapid growth.
For MBAs looking to join our company and make an impact in full-time management roles, our Global MBA Program provides opportunities for a small group of MBAs to join our company across AB InBev’s geographic zones.
For undergraduates with a focused idea of where they want to be in the future, our Functional Trainee Programs (FTP) provides a breadth of experiences within specific functions. Join a class of bold and ambitious people and learn by doing. The FTP gives trainees the opportunity to take on different roles and make a real difference within their chosen function (Sales, Marketing, Supply, etc.).
For students looking to make a big impact outside the classroom, our Internship Programs are the perfect way to get the most out of summer vacation. Unlike traditional internship programs, our interns are not stuck in the mailroom; they are assigned to a strategic project in order to learn and make a big impact in just a couple of months.
The names Global Management Trainee Program and Global MBA sure sound like they include global placement don’t they? Well, we actually refer to them as “Global” because you are part of one cohort of talent and you’ll get to network with talent from around the globe. Each of our seven geographical zones provides the same learning and development experience and runs the exact same programs.
We want you to learn the beer business in your home country so you can get a strong foundation before you go out and conquer the world. Global relocation moves becomes available when once you’ve proven yourself and your ability to drive results with a team of your own. Results: Not just another buzzword here.
You’ve heard all the rumors about making copies and running errands for the boss. You may have even heard some companies say their interns get to work on “real-world projects that enhance the value stream of the business.” Yeah, we don’t know what that means either.
What we do know is that as an intern, you’ll work on the same projects that full-time employees work on. Projects that have true impact, because they will empower and challenge you on a daily basis. Your manager and team will be there to help you along the way and by the end of the summer you’ll know you made a difference.
P.S. We have office coffee but everyone gets their own cup of Joe, so there are no intern coffee runs.
Absolutely. You’ll notice that the requirements are relatively broad. At AB you’re not limited by what it says on that insanely expensive piece of paper you get while wearing a cap and a gown. A chemical engineer doing marketing? Check. Business majors running shifts in a world-class brewery? Definitely. Engineers in HR? Stop it. No one would do that. Except us! Find the program(s) that sounds right for you and apply away.
Yes you can, and we encourage it. We’re a company of owners who got to where we are because we’re not afraid to try, fail (learn from our mistakes), and then try again and succeed. Because we didn’t become #1 by sitting on the sidelines and playing it safe. We’ve all failed plenty of times, but our setbacks have never stopped us, and they shouldn’t stop you either.
It depends. Will there be free pretzels? Kidding! We're willing to go find top talent for our company anywhere and everywhere we go. Check with your career centers to see if we'll be stopping by. But please, bring your own snacks.
If we don’t have a scheduled event on your campus, there’s a different date for you. Be sure to check the job posting for specifics.
