We pride ourselves on being there for the times that matter—times to celebrate, times to overcome, times to look forward. And, we have always been there to lift up our neighbors in times of need. During this crisis, we have continued to leverage our unique capabilities to support our communities by:
We are the country’s largest brewer and a leading manufacturer with nearly 60,000 jobs in the beer industry across the country. We have a responsibility to our partners – farmers, grocers, restaurant owners, wholesalers, union members, bartenders, drivers, and consumers – to play a leading role in our industry’s recovery.
When the time is right, we are here to play an active role in leading the strong, successful and safe recovery of the bar and restaurant community that has been so devastated. They are the gathering places for families and friends, the centers of neighborhoods, and the heart and soul of our industry.
To support safe and successful reopenings across the country, we have joined the National Restaurant Association’s Restaurant Revival Campaign as the exclusive beer partner. Through a national advertising campaign, Stella Artois and the National Restaurant Association will invite diners back into restaurants when it is safe to do so and encourage restaurants to sign the ServSafe Dining Commitment as they prepare to reopen. We have also committed $2.25 million to support this program through Stella Artois.
Through our reach, scale, and relationships, we’re helping to support the industry on a variety of fronts. Alongside our family of brands, we have spearheaded local and national efforts to lift up bars and restaurants through unique programs, partnerships and donations:
We are also using our unique scale to help connect Help Main Street with a host of business partners that are able to assist laid-off and furloughed members of the community to generate supplemental income.
To support our wholesaler partners and alleviate the pressure from increased inventory and expired product, we extended date codes on some draught and packaged beer, we shared the cost of recovering and disposing of expired product and launched a growler program.
As the country works towards reigniting the economy, we remain committed to safely bringing people together for richer conversations, sweeter celebrations and stronger communities.
