Anheuser-Busch Delivering Nearly 120,000 Cans of Emergency Drinking Water to Support Wildfire Relief Efforts on West Coast

Anheuser-Busch is delivering nearly 120,000 cans of emergency drinking water to ongoing wildfire relief efforts and volunteer fire departments in California, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Washington and Wyoming.

The donations of emergency drinking water will be delivered to Anheuser-Busch wholesaler partners, Eagle Distributing Co (Sonoma, CA), Flathead Beverage Co. (Kalispell, MT), Markstein Beverage (Sacramento, CA), Morrey Distributing Co. (Sparks, NV), Premier Distributing Co. (Santa Fe, NM), Quality Brands (Cheyenne, WY), Tripp Distributing Inc. (Colville, WA), Valley Sales Co Inc (Jamestown, ND) and Zip Inc. (Missoula, MT) who will work alongside the American Red Cross, local volunteer fire departments, and disaster relief agencies to distribute the resources to those in need.

The clean, safe drinking water was produced at Anheuser-Busch's Fort Collins, CO brewery which - alongside the company's Cartersville, GA brewery - periodically pauses beer production throughout the year to can emergency drinking water to help communities in times of disaster.

Anheuser-Busch has a longstanding tradition of providing support for disaster relief efforts in partnership with the American Red Cross. In 2019, the brewer also expanded its emergency drinking water program through a partnership with the National Volunteer Fire Council to help ensure members of the nation's volunteer fire service have the resources they need to protect their communities.

This year, Anheuser-Busch has committed to donating 1.5 million cans of water to volunteer fire departments. The deliveries, which began this Spring, will support more than 420 volunteer fire departments across 48 states during the demanding wildfire season.

Since the inception of the emergency drinking water program in 1988, Anheuser-Busch and its wholesaler partners have provided more than 86 million cans of water to U.S. communities nationwide.
