The Official Beer Sponsor of the NFL Kicks Off the Season with Never Seen Before Team Cans Inspired by Fan Rally-Cries and Welcomes Fans Back in a Larger-Than-Life way at the First Game of the Season

New York, NY, August 19, 2021 – This season, NFL fans are back in a big way, and so is Bud Light. As the official beer sponsor of the NFL, Bud Light knows that nothing goes together better than celebrating a big score, turnover or game-changing play with fellow 21+ fans and an ice-cold beer!

New Limited-Edition NFL Packaging “For the Fans”

Bud Light is unveiling its 2021-2022 NFL team cans and packaging that brings fandom to a whole new level. For the first time ever, the new limited-edition packaging will feature designs inspired by team rally cries that fans cheer as they root on their favorite teams. The “For the Fans” limited-edition packaging will vary by team and will be available in 16 oz. aluminum bottles and 12 oz. glass bottles in 12-pack, 15-pack, 20-pack, and 24-packs beginning Monday, August 23rd.

In addition to the limited-edition packaging featuring team chants from fan bases across the NFL, the packaging will also include a new How2Recycle® label which is designed to educate and inspire fans to recycle their beer bottles, cans and packaging after enjoying the game. Bud Light is the first major beer brand to join the How2Recycle program, further demonstrating its support of Anheuser-Busch's 2025 U.S. Sustainability Goals

Welcoming NFL Fans Back to Kickoff Weekend Across the League

To kick off the season and welcome all NFL fans back in a big way, Bud Light is teaming up with the reigning Super Bowl Champions - the Tampa Bay Buccaneers – to produce a larger than life “Welcome Mat” for the first NFL game of the season on Thursday, September 9th. This is not just an ordinary welcome mat – this symbolic ode to the return of NFL fandom measures over 71 yards in-length! Fans in attendance will have the chance to win limited-edition Tampa Bay Buccaneers merchandise by scanning a QR Code at the Welcome Mat – located at the South Entrance of Raymond James Stadium.

Not in Tampa?
